Just because someone accuses someone else of doing something illegal as does make it so as Patt did recently
against our dog rescue. (Read previous page and below the finished BBB false reports.)
The Better Business
Bureau has now dropped this complaint against us if you read the whole transcript below and the previous page of the original
complaints.

RECEIVED
CONSUMER REBUTTAL : (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
She
is still operating an illegal kennel while in the county of Spokane. Currently
she has less than 30 days to either comply with county regulations or face penalties.
You can contact Nancy Hill, director of SCRAPS to confirm. She tries to
confuse the facts with lies about the past. She was not instrumental in the Lincoln
County investigation of Sarah Schak. Schak was not convicted but pled guilty
(no contest basically). Mrs. Mossburg is still not a business but appears to
the public as one. I am not asking that she become a 501(c)(3) but to register
her charity either as a for profit business or a charity with the Secretary of State.
She goes on and on about Mrs. Schak but evades my complaint. It is errelavent that her husband works in law enforcement
or that Mrs. Mossburg used to work for a registered non-profit.

RECEIVED
BUSINESS' REBUTTAL RESPONSE :
The
ONLY complaints to the BBB since 1991 our highly successful dog rescue, Dachshund Rescue NW, has ever received is from this
person, Kathy Patt, past Vice President, and Sarah Schak, past President of Sleepy Hollow 'Now Forever Closed Fake' Horse
Rescue. They both are bent on revenge as our participation helped result in that
horse ''rescue'' being closed for good.
See
the web site for proof at www.edragoon.com/closesleepyhollow and research how these people abused animals at that farm that
resulted in the authorities closing them down for good.
Because
many folks were appalled at what they witnessed and were willing to file affidavits with law enforcement Patt and Schak could
no longer starve, abuse, maim and kill the animals in their care because the public choose to go to the authorities. Enough was enough. Many people including
us were willing to report exactly what they witnessed and that large list of people also included past employees, customers
and volunteers.
These
vindictive and revengeful BBB reports by both Schak and Patt is just the latest in a series of failed attempts to close down
our fun rescue and dog club run by many volunteers that has saved many, many dog's lives for the past 14 years. We have prevented many generations of unwanted pets including SIX previously abused and unsocialized dogs
that we have rescued after Schak sold them to the public at her puppy mill breeding operation.
And we let the public know every single time we get in yet another of Schak's abused dogs that were bred and sold to
the unsuspecting dog buying public in this area. We are still here warning the
people to avoid buying her dogs.
We
are not operating anything illegal at any time contrary to what this spiteful person has written and we will be here doing
what we have done for the past 14 years. No amount of filing false reports with
agencies like the BBB or the constant phone calls to any government agency by Schak and Patt both has been able to shut us
down at this point. And Patt and Schak won't close us down in the future as we
save lives; we do not kill or abuse the animals in our care as proven every time
we are inspected by anyone who visits.
And
we thank Patt and Schak for the opportunity of this very public record to show exactly how they have publicly harassed us
for years AFTER we took a stand to make sure the public knew how many animals have died or were abused in their care and to
warn everyone to avoid working with them at any time. They both still have animals
at their homes and many people are watching now to make sure that none of the animals are abused while in their care.
And
our dog rescue will still be here for many more years saving many more lives no matter how much more harassment that we receive
from Schak and Patt.
