This horse has a new home!

Bob is a gelding, 8 1/2 years old, dappled bay, 14.3H and about 1,300 pounds. He is trained to ride and drive, but rusty.

We are putting time on him so we know how much he still knows. Has been standing around for a bit, but he has had a ton of training in his past.

This cutie was standing around at a boarding stable after his owner moved away.  He was so mellow that we decided to buy him, work him and find him a home where he will have some more time and friends because he is that sweet. This guy adores people and attention. He follows me around the barn yard here.

Bob loads, hauls, ties to hitching post, stands for farrier, etc. Has nice conformation, gorgeous legs/feet and a very sweet face.

He is a big boy and needs someone who is strong. If he walks forward he can take someone along who does not know what they are doing. He is not mean just a very beefy boy.

If a beginner wants this cutie then they would have to pay a trainer to tune him up for them. As he is right now Bob is good for an intermediate rider and driver.

This guy has gone to Civil War re-enactments and passed that test with guns going off, etc. Just a nice  horse who used to lay down and sleep in the picket lines at those noisy, active events. He is more then calm just a bit rusty. He will make someone a lovely horse for their farm even if he is a lawn mower he has that much personality.

We are asking only $800 for him but his price will go up as we get more training into him.
