WINTER SPECIAL PRICE UNTIL MARCH 17: Asking $3,300
or will trade. See more details below.
This is Poppy or Frazier's Passion N Pride, July 2004, 14.3H dark chestnut mare with lighter mane and tail
that turns colors with the seasons. She was purchased mainly as a broodmare because she has lovely foals. But
with us downsizing and getting out of breeding this means we have too many horses to ride now.
Nicely bred with mostly Foundation lines, her grandsire Silverstate Pride was a champion in reining I am told.
Just some nice lines with great brains, lovely looks and conformation. Poppy is all Morgan and she looks it too.
I never got a chance to show her in classes locally but when we have visitors everyone is drooling over this cute mare.
I liked her brains and sense of humor. I bought her immediately the first time I saw her she is that cute then
I went back and bought the weanling filly by her side I liked them both so much.
Poppy
is broke as a trail horse. She will take an intermediate rider or better not because she is mean just because she is
rusty with only five trail rides in 2011. Also, she is not a kid's horse and would not be sold as such because I want
to find a longer home then a childen's horse they outgrow.
If someone wants
more show training on her to finish her head set and transitions then Poppy would make an awesome show Western Pleasure
mare. She is very pretty with correct conformation and looks. But showing Western is not our thing so we trail
ride her and planned on breeding her for more lovely, mellow foals, but life interfered so the breeding operation here must
be closed. Will have more lovely foals if someone wants to breed her again before she gets too old.
Here are her papers (and a copy below), more details and a video link as well from this summer:

Poppy loads and hauls, trims, comes running when called, stands at hitching post, walks over
obstacles on the ground and under saddle, crosses water under saddle and on the ground, moves from pressure, has
a nice "whoa", no vices although she wants to eat first in a herd, trims, sacks out, trail rides, lunges, side passes
nicely in hand on command and pressure, etc. Very healthy and never has seen a vet a day in her life so no health or
mental issues.
She could sell with
a free breeding to one of our two stallions if not the boys are not sold in 2012. Mare owners pay their mare care
fee of $150 a month for dry and $250 wet if they would want to have a FREE foal. We will offer this for 2012 summer
only if the boys are still here. All the usual guarantees by whatever stallions we have here.
Our coming three year old palomino filly for sale, Brie, is out
of Poppy and by our cremello stallion Jay. Brie is adorable and sweet just like her parents. Brie is pictured
here as a weanling with Brie. See Brie's page for more current photos and videos
WINTER
SPECIAL UNTIL MARCH 17: Asking $3,300 or will trade this cute mare for bumper pull horse trailer, farm
trailer, horse hay delivered and stacked, etc. Nothing that eats please, but what do you have? Some partial payments
will be considered. We are not taking offers on our adorable Poppy at this time. That is her final price or I
will keep just her as a trail riding buddy horse for my friends and family when they visit. Thanks. I have more
training into her for that and I will throw the sweet mare in for FREE! Hahahaha.
