Angus AKA Dragoon Scottish Highland (HDD Royal Senator by Windover Regency X Arboria Rapture by TVM Prince
Steven by UVM promise) is our gorgeous black stallion born on May 30, 2005. This cutie is already a show
ring winner in two shows as a weanling. Click the link above to see his papers on this site. Click the links below
to see many more foal photos as well as sire and dam photos on this site.
Click on the photo to the right to see some more lovely yearling photos of Angus taken on September 1, 2006
at age 15 months. We have decided to keep our mellow boy here on the farm so he will remain a breeding horse.
Angus should mature 15+ hands high as he was a very large weanling. Both his sire is 15 hands
and his dam is 15.1 hands too. As a yearling Angus was 14+ hands already so he could top out around 15.1+,
but only time will tell.

This mellow colt was our only foal in 2005 so he was extra spoiled and had a lot of extra training
from a professional horse trainer that works at home. He has been started off correctly in his training and handled
well since hitting the ground and imprinted too.
Angus has enough motion to be a nice Classic pleasure driving horse or World quality Western pleasure
show horse too. His conformation is also nice enough to win in halter classes as well.
Want a future show ring winner in your herd too if you breed to Angus? Angus was Reserve Grand Champion
Stallion at Spokane Interstate Fair in September 2005 and won his halter class at the Knights of Santiago Open Horse Show
against two yearlings and one two-year-old pictured in June 2005. We wanted him to get a little experience off
the farm and have some trailer rides. Winning in the show ring with him was a bonus for us.
We would of been showing Angus in 2006 and 2007 too at larger shows, but a car wreck left the main horse
trainer here out of commission except for ground work for most of the summer. So we will be hitting the show ring again
with our horses next year and too bad we could not show Angus this year as he would of turned some heads.
His sire, Senator with many photos on this site, is a very pretty Western horse with a very, very mellow
attitude. His dam, Rapture on this site, is a champion in halter and in pleasure driving at many shows including the
Nationals with World and National Champions in her papers. This mare has captured our hearts and is an amazing
broodmare. She always has lovely foals and Angus is no exception.
This gorgeous colt will stand to only two outside mares in 2008 so let us know if he is worth his $500 introductory
stud fee. That fee is for all breeds and includes 30 days free mare care. All the usual guarantees plus discounts
for 4H and multiple mares.
If Angus is your future stallion for your mare please call us at 509-796-2140 (please leave a
message) or email Margo at dragoonfr @ hotmail.com (Just remove the spaces before emailing. Thanks.)
