(JMF Liberty Valance by La Loma Landmark Command X  Sno-time Ellegance by UVM Jefferson)

We stood this stallion for two year's as a training horse for his owners in Nevada.  After a serious car wreck for Margo in the summer of 2006 we reluctantly decided to send Oly home to his farm so they could continue Oly's training elsewhere while Margo was laid up for two years.

We still miss this pretty boy and wished we had enough mares to get at least one foal before he went home.

We have lost this boy after almost 45 years in horses we have never had a horse die this suddenly and for no reason.  In fact we have never lost any horses so this was a hard thing for us both.  It has taken a huge hole out of our hearts and we miss Soldier terribly.

Soldier was such a sweet soul while he was here and he just a lot of fun while enjoying life.  It took 10 years to find such a boy and we are sure that we will never find another one like him every again now that the breed has changed so dramatically in the last 15 years.

We liked Reed so much, our main breeding stallion in the column below that we leased this half brother Cal to breed some foals for us from 2006 to 2007.  Click Cal's photos below to see many photos of Cal and his get, full papers and breeding details.

Cal's 2007 foal below Magnum is exceptional in conformation, attitude and trot like his sire.  This very adorable colt is for sale.  Click on Magnum's photo below to see his page.

Samson

A pinto Saddlebred stallion.

We were asked to work this stud for a year and it was hard to pass up such a pretty boy who was calm and kind.  While he was here we did take a lot of nice photos too.

Although we love Morgans first our second favorite breed is Saddlebreds.  And this was a very nice colt we enjoyed having in training and standing at stud.

We gave this colt a barn name of Samson because another colt had chewed off his tail.  They liked the name so much that it stuck.  Sam went on to a career of being crossed with Arabian mares to have NSH foals.  I am sure they will be as pretty as their dad and as mellow too.
