(This video above is my attempt to show Dolly and her cute foal Magum and one of my first attempts at videos.  Sorry for the quality, but hopefully you can see the horses even with their Winter coats.  Thanks, Margo)

FOR SALE

This cutie is Magnum out Dream Tranquility Bay AKA Dolly (seal brown) by Kerry Xcalibur AKA Cal (bay). The sire is on the farm here and we have his photos on this site.  The dam, Dolly, did not like being a broodmare so we sold her in 2007 as a riding/show horse.  Please click the links below to see their web pages with Magnum's sire and dam and their papers with lots of photos.

Magnum was born at 2 p.m. on February 9th and surprised us with a daylight baby so we did not have to stay awake all night.  Yippee!  This is Dolly's first foal and we were expecting a new arrival at night as most mares tend to do. This cutie is also late after his due date so that was also another surprise, but the vet and other vet web sites said it is not unusual for foals to arrive late in Winter months.  So we had a new foal on a very wet day, but all's well that ends well in a dry stall.

This is a very pretty bay colt with minimal white markings will mature at 14.3 or larger and around 1,000 pounds.  He has exceptional papers filled with many show champions.  Only time will tell what division Magnum will be bested suited for as a show horse or a breeding horse or possibly both.  But he will be a well mannered and happy boy before he goes to his new home.

At six months getting another lesson in patience

Dennis has given him the barn name of Magnum as it IS a "high calibur."  Thanks husband for a funny barn name again for our newest edition.

Asking $3000 in 2008.

I will be taking many photos so stay tuned to this page as this one gets older and more spoiled.
