This mare was sold in December 2006.
Star's a cutie, isn't she? Meet Springwood Lucky Star AKA Star. Her sire is Renwood Spartino (Renwood Valentino
X Beckridge Sparkle) and her dam is Sunbolt Molly (Funquest Prophecy X Funquest Maggy Lin).
Her papers also have Mantic Peter Frost, The Brown Falcon (twice), Flyhawk, Orcland Royal Don, Beckridge Ninmon,
Waseeka Peter Piper, Barberry, US Menmar, Waseeka Peter Piper, Montey Vermont and more. That's a lot of nice show horses
and great breeding horses are in her papers.
Star was born May 2000, is a dark, dappled bay and is 14.3. She needs an intermediate or better rider so no
young children please. She has had 6 months professional training and is ready to go right now as a trail horse.
Finish her head set and she would be ready for the show ring very quickly. She has enough trot to be a hunt horse or
a harness horse or a trail horse.
She also looks cute under Western tack and would do a jog trot again with little training. She could finish for
a show horse in 4H or open shows easily enough. This is a very versatile old style Morgan mare so you choose where you
want her to go.
Star loads, bathes, clips, hauls, stands for shoes or trims fine, and has been off the farm to three events this
past year before she had a foal for us. The mare is sound with no health issues or vices.

Star also sells open so she can be ridden right away or bring her back to bred to one of our
nice stallions in 2007 for an extra charge on their stud fee.
