FOR SALE
Introducing our 2007 edition, Dragoon Gilded Lily AKA Legs.
This cutie was born a bit late, but Legs is here, healthy and learning to use her very long legs now.
Born on June 30, 2007 Legs is a huge foal. Her dam is 15.3, and her grandam was 17 hands. Legs already had to
reach under to nurse at three days so expect she will mature around 15.3+ hands or more like her older brother as she
is a huge weanling.
Legs is a sweet one and not protesting anything we are doing yet including her first halter lesson
at three days pictured below in some of the photos.
She learned to halter break very easily and stand quietly at the hitching post with minimal protest, pick
out all four feet like she has been doing it for years, sack her out easily, stand with a towel over her head and eyes, etc.
This is one extremely mellow filly just like her dam. Legs is an easy girl to train with a very happy attitude.
This girl loves to learn new things as long as she gets some scratchings for rewards.
She loads and hauls, trim, touch anywhere and is one of the nicest fillies that we have ever met.
She is literally like a big dog and follows us around. She will be safe for the whole family.
Legs looks to be wanting to be a sport horse, Dressage or Hunter divisons with her long stride at the
trot and huge size just like her dam. And is calm enough for Western too. She has a nice smooth trot and halter
conformation too so we expect someone will want to show her down the road. And did you see her snaky neck? Legs
uses that neck very nicely too so she should not be overlooked as a future broodmare with her nice conformation.
And we can not wait to see what color she will be after she loses her foal coat. Right now she
looks to be a bright red chestnut with Winter ccoat, but only time will tell there. We will probably have to wait until
Spring to see what color she will shed out.
We will trade her for a proven, producing broodmare, registered Morgan only please, at least 15.1 of any
color and please send us photos of your mare, papers as well as her offspring.
See below for a copy of her papers.
Asking $3,000.
Sincerely,
Margo Mossburg
