| WAITING TO HIT THE ARENA TO PROMOTE THE MORGAN BREED |
We are Dennis & Margo Mossburg and our home is located near Spokane, Wash.
Margo has been in Morgans her entire life with growing up on a large hay, cattle and Morgan farm North of Spokane where
horses were raised and shown. Margo and her three youngest siblings and single mom achieved many Regional, National
and some World titles with their horses from the 1960s - the 1990s when most of the siblings were off getting married or going
off to college. The three oldest siblings were not into horses as much but they had shown and worked horses in the very
early years on the ranch.
Dennis grew up North of Spokane too on a smaller farm with horses too, but he was showing other livestock like sheep
and doing well with them over the years. Now he enjoys his Dachshund, Bad Baby Bogart, and working around the farm.
After we met and became good friends, then got married and finished college we both wanted a farm where Margo could continue
to breed, train and show her beloved Morgans. Dennis works in law enforcement for the state and he is Margo's assistant
trainer when needed.
Margo started her dog rescue at her home and later ranch, Dachshund Rescue NW (DRNW), in 1991 and the Dachshund Club
of Spokane in 2003. Dennis and Margo along with all their volunteers rescued 47 homeless wiener dogs in 2005 alone.
( To see the DRNW web site: http://www.nonprofitnw.org/drnw)
Margo and later Dennis helped Margo's sister Stephanie start her hands-on farm educational children's charity,
Old McDonald's Farm, Inc., in 1994. Steph is still running her charity at her farm outside of Portland, Ore. where
they have received around 13,000 visitors since opening. We volunteered for about 10 years at OMF helping to see
that children could experience a farm because less than 3% of the US population now lives on a family farm. (To

| YES, I RIDE WESTERN TOO! |
Below are Margo's horsey memories although there is not enough room to include 42 years of photos in horses, but there
are a few of her favorite memories below.
We have a lot of fun doing what we do with our horses and rescued wiener dogs at the ranch. We are blessed.
Thanks for stopping by and looking at our page of memories.
