Massey Morgan Farm Dispersal Sale Horses

UPDATE 9-25-07: THESE HORSES HAVE NOW ALL BEEN SOLD THANKS TO DRAGOON MARKETING AND TAKING PHOTOS OF THEM. THIS IS THE PAGE AS WE HAD IT TO HELP SELL HORSES.  LET US KNOW IF YOU NEED HELP SELLING YOUR MORGAN OR PART-BRED TOO.

This lovely herd of horses are being dispersed due to a death in the Massey family from Lewiston.  They are all fine examples of the breed with nice conformation and no health or leg problems.  They have all been trimmed, come with their Coggins health certificates, registration papers and are current on worming from last June.  Their shots will need updated, but they just had all their feet trimmed too.  These are very well cared for horses so will not last long at these prices.  Please see each description below for more details.

Thanks for stopping by this page to see these farm dispersal horses for sale.  Please scroll down to see papers and click on photos to see more pictures of each horse.  As we can we are uploading more photos for each horse below so stay tuned.

Visitors are welcome by appointment to come visit these fine, registered Morgans.  Please call Margo at 509-796-2140.  We are located northwest of Spokane and about 20 minutes from town.  Or email me for directions at dragoonfr @ hotmail.com (remove spaces before emailing.  Thanks.)

These quality Morgan horses will be for sale soon on www.dreamhorse.com and the www.spokanemorganclub.org web sites too so stay tuned.

Thanks Kipp Massey for choosing Dragoon Morgans to help you market and sell these horses for your farm dispersal.  We help other market their horses too so get in touch if you need help selling any of your horses.

Sincerely,
Margo Mossburg

THIS GELDING IS NOW SOLD TO A FAMILY IN POTLACH, ID.  WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR FLASH LOCALLY.

Updated 9/14/07:  Flash for Cash AKA Flash is sweet on the ground or being ridden.  Cute as a button too, and he likes people too.  He did well with riding on our test drive, went where pointed with his ears up, but he will need a head set to finish for 4H or any shows.  He is great on the trails at his previous home and did well here too on trails around the place.

He will need an intermediate rider because he likes to walk where he wants so he needs someone to steer so he doesn't have to in other words, a rider not a passenger.  He is not mean nor wild or spooky, and he has never has been abused.  He is a happy boy without any issues whatsoever that we have found and I test him daily.

Flash just needs someone to be the boss and most beginners are not confident enough to move him along.  The test rider did perfect with him when they rode him for us to take these photos.  Flash was perfect and calm for her.  Nothing scares him here.  This horse would just like a confident rider please.

Flash is prettier than his photos I snapped of him here.  Plus he presents himself for loves every time we go to the paddock.  Just a very nice gelding.

This is one spoiled horse kid with tons of love and great care in his background.  He has been a well cherished family pet so we hope he gets some riding hours and lots of time in his new home.  The only thing wrong with this boy he has been too well fed in his last home, but has lost some weight since this photos were taken and is looking better shape now.

Flash has been worked in a hackamore before he arrived, but we added a soft snaffle on his test ride and he did just fine for the day.  He is about 15 hands and 1,050 pounds now after losing some weight and getting some exercising in daily.  He was being free fed round bales before he came and that is not good for Morgans to do that as they are very easy keepers.

The first family who comes for a test drive will take him home he is that nice of a horse.  Please make an appointment soon because he is priced right for a broke Morgan gelding.

PRICE REDUCED: We are asking only $2,900 for a well broke gelding who could be shown on any level with a bit more training in Western and he would do very well.  Or he can stay a safe and sane trail horse.  You choose.  Just let us know if you need a pretty Morgan gelding in your barn.

THIS GELDING IS NOW SOLD TO A FAMILY IN SEQUIM, WA.

Sport is a very pretty if very well fed gelding who is broke to death.  He will need to get back in shape soon with less chow is the only thing wrong with him that we can see.  He can be a beginner's horse with a refresher course in riding with a trainer to work on cues, etc.  He is great on trails here and would not take much to finish his head set for shows.

Sport has been worked in a hackamore, but we added a soft snaffle and he did very well on his test rides here.

He is the sire of the horses above before he was gelded.  He is 14.3 and about 1,150 pounds (Sport is overweight right now and should weight around 1,000 after he loses some weight), and very dark chesnut that looks black with lovely halter conformation.

Asking $3,500 for a well broke gelding.

Pepper

THIS MARE IS NOW SOLD TO A FAMILY IN TEXAS.

This mare sells open and she is not bred for 2008.

Do you like snorty?  Then this is your girl!  This very pretty mare with lovely conformation can be handled easily on the ground for trims, etc., and she is greenbroke.  She will need someone who knows how to handle horses as she is a bit hotter than the rest of the herd so she is probably not a beginner's mare although she is fine on the ground.

Pepper has had round pen work before being ridden and done just fine with her saddle work.  She has some nice motion as well and as she is aging she is getting more and more mellow as time goes by according to her vet, but right now "snorty" is this one's nickname.

If no one is interested in Pepper then I may have to keep her and finish her training because she is an impressive mare.  But I have enough horses to work here now so let me know if you can work this girl and get her in the show ring.  She will turn some heads with her good looks and "look at me" attitude.

She is about 15.3 and 1,100 pounds (This mare is a bit overweight and well loved right now!  She should be around 1,000 pounds when she loses some weight.), dark seal brown and distinct dapples.

Asking $1,500.

THIS MARE IS NOW SOLD TO A FAMILY IN NINE MILE FALLS, WA, WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR CHISLED LOCALLY.

This mare sells open and is not bred for 2008.

She is not broke, but wore a saddle this week so will be easy to finish.  Anyone can handle her on the ground as this mare is sweet. She loves sticking her nose in my camera lens and loves any attention.  With her gorgeous and lovely conformation we can see her having some nice foals down the road.

She is about 15.2 and about 1,050 pounds, and a dark chesnut.

Asking $2,500.

THIS MARE IS NOW SOLD TO A FAMILY IN TEXAS.

This mare sells open and she is not bred for 2008.

Clover is sweet and would not stay away form the camera when I was shooting unless everyone wants nose shots of this cutie.  This is a very kind mare.  She is not broke yet, but has ponied extrensively on the trails.  With her very mellow attitude she will amke someone a sweet broodmare or a nice riding horse when finished.

She is about 14.3 and about 900 pounds with a light/medium chesnut with sandy-colored mane and tail.

Asking $1,500.
